Andy Street art

Andy Street art. Isn’t it the greatest? So you’ve probably seen one of my street art pieces. Perhaps in The Netherlands. Or else in LA, New York, Tokyo or Melbourne. Or anywhere in the World. Everybody loves Andy the Dandy 😉

But most of the time I don’t paste these art objects myself of course. My fans do that. That’s what Andy street art is about.

So why the Andy street art?

Because it’s awesome. Most streets are boring. So why not paste my beautiful face in the streets or on the streetart museum. I mean. Disney created me. And why not show it here and there. I used to do a lot of graffiti. Not anymore. Well… Not that often anymore. Also you can buy my art

Andy streetart fame

Yes, you could say I am gaining fame. And I’d be a liar if I didnt want some fame. However fame, is not the word I’d use. See. I have this thing inside of me. A desire to express myself. To show myself. To show art to the world. Sometimes we find those who seek attention, attention seekers, egomaniacs and useless narcissists. All true. And so delightfull. Because where would we be without us? The street art from Basquiat, the whores from Picasso and the political statements of Banksy. And now… Andy street art.

To whom belong the streets?

To the people. Do they want my art? Probably not! But I am one of the people. And I choose to use the streets as my gallery. And of course, let’s be honest, most of the people adore me and my art.

The streets are dominated by commercial posts trying to keep you numb and dumb. Alcohol adds that show you have a good time with a drink… Casino’s showing happy people gambling, also not a good idea. And crappy restaurants trying you to persuade to fill your body with high sugars, high fat horrible misery.

So my stuff on the streets will perhaps be a fun distraction from all those stupid stuff we actually don’t need.

Why streetart?

Well, I don’t just make streetart. I see the streets as a way to introduce my art to the people. I love to suprise people who are just walking, bicycling or riding in the streets… Bam, suddenly there’s my beautiful blue face. So that’s why.
